Jayanti Rabadia is considered a master of ceramics, and has been a professor for the last three decades. His works draw inspiration from kahaavatein (proverbs) associated with Indian mythology. He works on proverbs of Indian origin as he feels they are fading away in our day-to-day conversations. Through each work, Rabadia has built narratives with the human figure, flora and fauna. His works are playful and heroic, and his language is unique in the sense that the works are painterly and also present themselves in sculptural glory.
